LSU Tigers junior guard Flau'Jae Johnson led her team to a comfortable 82-65 win over the No. 25 NC State Wolfpack to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games.

Johnson had an efficient scoring night, going 5-for-7 for 16 points, along with three rebounds, one assist and one steal. She also had five turnovers.

Her mother, also referred to as her "Momager," Kia Brooks, had a one-word reaction to the performance:

"Mines."

She added another post praising her daughter:

"Proud momma , keep going my girl!! 4️⃣"

Flau'Jae Johnson also received support from Mikaylah Williams, who led the Tigers in scoring with 24 points. Forward Aneesah Morrow contributed 20 points and 15 rebounds. For the Wolfpack, guard Saniya Rivers scored 21 points in the losing effort.

After her performance on Wednesday, Johnson improved her season averages to 23.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

Flau'Jae Johnson praises her mother's work ethic

Tragedy struck Flau'Jae Johnson's household early when she lost her father, the late rapper Jason Johnson, known as Camouflage, who died in May 2003. Since then, her mother, Kia Brooks, has raised all of their children. Through her company, TFNA Entertainment & Sports, she manages her daughter.

In September, while appearing on Jon Taylor's "Like a Girl" show, Johnson credited her mother's inspiring work ethic.

"I think I got my whole work ethic from my mom, just seeing her work so hard to raise me and my brother by herself," Flau'Jae said. "I just see how much she work, how much she hustling. I think I just admired that."

Along with being a basketball star, Flau'Jae Johnson is also a rapper following in the footsteps of his late father.

"My dad, he was a rapper as well. He was killed before I was born, but he kind of inspired me to do music," she said. "When I found out my dad was a rapper, that just became my favorite artist, and I realized he was actually successful. Having those memories of my dad and his music and being able to connect with him through music, That's probably like my biggest inspiration in music."

Flau'Jae has been building her own rap career, even dropping a collaboration with Lil Wayne, which has helped establish her as a star in both sports and music.
