LSU star Flau'jae Johnson, who is balancing her music career and basketball journey, celebrated a major milestone on Thursday as the NFL added one of her songs to this year's official playlist.

The NFL announced the season list on X featuring thirteen tracks that will serve as the soundtrack during the upcoming regular season through the Super Bowl proceedings. Johnson's hit track, "Came Out A Beast" is part of the playlist.

Flau'jae Johnson could not contain her excitement and took to social media to express her gratitude and to let her fans know about this incredible achievement in her growing rap career.

"Guys, this is so exciting!! Thank you Roc Nation and NFL for including #CameOutABeast in the 2024 NFL Songs of the Season," Johnson tweeted.

Released in June, "Came Out A Beast" is the fourth track of Johnson's debut album "Best of Both Worlds." It became a massive hit thanks to rap icon Lil Wayne who is featured in the song. On Aug. 26, Johnson and Lil Wayne dropped its official music video which quickly reached over 1.9 million views on YouTube in only nine days.

LSU women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey made a surprise cameo in the video. Mulkey can be seen delivering a pep talk to LSU players during their 2023 Elite Eight game against Miami.

"Having Coach Mulkey in the ‘Came Out A Beast’ video was special," Johnson said via Genius. "She’s always been in my corner, both on and off the court, pushing me to be my best. Her support means everything to me, so it was amazing to have her be part of this moment."

Flau'jae Johnson explains how Lil Wayne collab became possible

The LSU guard opened up about how her collaboration with Lil Wayne came to fruition. During an interview with Genius in August, Johnson shared the meaning behind the lyrics of "Came Out A Beast" and also detailed the story behind the collaboration.

"Sue Bird [was] talking to Wayne on ESPN," Johnson said. "Sue Bird was like 'when are you gonna do a song with Flau'jae?' She basically threw me the alley-oop on ESPN live."
"He ended up reaching out to me," Johnson continued. "He sent the verse back, like, a couple weeks later. He gave me a classic Wayne verse."
