Paige Bueckers has a lot to be thankful for lately. The UConn Huskies star recently returned from a knee injury and made history with her inclusion in the 2,000-point club. On Friday, Bueckers posted a series of snaps of herself in the Huskies' recent games, reliving those precious moments with her followers on Instagram.
Bueckers captioned the photos using a passage from the Bible, sharing the message of Proverbs 16:9.
"Enjoying the journey," Bueckers wrote. "In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps."
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels reacted with a GOAT emoji to Bueckers' post, which has generated more than 150,000 likes. Her UConn teammates also added several comments.
Aubrey Griffin and Morgan Cheli replied with blue heart emojis, while KK Arnold and Ice Brady had similar comments, using the number 5 and a red heart emoji. Kaitlyn Chen also commented, writing:
"Same totes enjoying it."
Among the photos Bueckers featured were her games against the Seton Hall Pirates and the Villanova Wildcats. The senior guard will never forget her performance against Seton Hall on Sunday, as she finally reached the 2,000-point milestone.
Bueckers became the 12th women's basketball player in UConn history to achieve that feat, joining the ranks of Maya Moore, Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, Tina Charles, Katie Lou Samuelson, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, Nykesha Sales, Kerry Bascom, Diana Taurasi, Kara Wolters and Rebecca Lobo.
Bueckers was the fastest to reach that scoring milestone, needing just 102 games to surge past the 2,000-point mark. She broke the record previously held by Moore, who played 108 games for UConn before amassing 2,000 points.
Paige Bueckers returns with a bang after knee injury scare

Bueckers missed just two games for UConn and returned to action against St. John's on Jan. 15. She scored 12 points in the Huskies' 71-45 win over the Red Storm. Bueckers then entered the record books in the 96-36 win over Seton Hall, scoring 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting.
Bueckers showed that she is truly back in UConn's 100-57 win over Villanova on Wednesday, recording 21 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals through the first three quarters.
