Former Iowa star Gabbie Marshall drops 4-word reaction for Jada Gyamfi’s glam shots on IG

Iowa women's basketball star Jada Gyamfi posted glammed-up photos of herself on Instagram to the admiration of her friends and followers. The photos featured Gyamfi sporting a black top, a pair of jeans trousers and stylishly tussled hair.

"From Iowa city with love💌," Gyamfi captioned the photos she posted on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Gyamfi's former teammate, Gabbie Marshall dropped a three-word comment to praise the Iowa senior.

"Oooo u cute girl," she wrote.

Gyamfi and Marshall, as well as Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin, formed a close friendship during their time at Iowa. While Clark and Martin have gone pro in the WNBA, Marshall chose to retire and pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy in North Carolina.

Gyamfi is in her senior year at Iowa and remains one of the leaders of Jan Jensen's team despite seeing limited playing time on the court.

Jada Gyamfi made a hilarious comment on former Iowa teammate Gabbie Marshall during an episode of "Catching Up With Jada Gyamfi" on her 'Taco-Bout Network' YouTube channel on Jan. 21.

When asked whom she would pick between Marshall and WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark, if she was stuck on an island, Gyamfi ranked neither of them at the top.

"Gabbie is going to see this and be so mad at me. But I'm going to put Kate (Martin) at number one because I think I would survive and get off the island perfectly. Gabbie is going to go at number two. We would die on that island together, like we would not make it off," she said. (6:29)

"But I'd probably be the most content to spend time with her alone and like I would if I was stuck with Gabbie. I would accept the fact that we're going to die. But, like, that's my bestie, so I'd be okay."

Gyamfi also ranked Clark as number three because she would have to do everything for the Indiana Fever star. The Iowa senior guard said neither she nor Clark had any island survival skills and they would not make it out of there.
