UConn's Paige Bueckers made her fashion week debut at the New York Fashion Week last weekend. The guard was on a 'world tour' this offseason, supporting her former Huskies teammates in the WNBA and also other sports athletes like Coco Gauff and Frances Tiafoe in the US Open.
Bueckers' fashion week snaps have gone viral on social media, especially her butterfly-embossed black pants and jacket from the Off-White spring/summer 2025 show. Now, another outfit choice of Bueckers is making the rounds on the internet.
On Saturday, Paige Bueckers shared pictures of her wearing a Spiderman-inspired outfit on her Instagram.
"Sp5derwoman🕸️," she wrote in the caption.
Along with the many fans who reacted to Bueckers, her UConn teammates also joined in. Sophomore Kamorea Arnold wrote:
"Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Woman😎"
Paige Bueckers attended the Tombogo Spring/Summer 2025 show and at the Who Decides War show, where she spoke to Marie Claire about her debut NYFW experience.
"I'm having a great time it's my first fashion week so I'm very excited to be here. It's all new to me. I'm learning," Bueckers said.
"Stepping outside my comfort zone, continue to find who I am in fashion, exploring my masculine side, my feminine side and just mixing both, and just continue to get comfortable in my own skin and finding different ways to express myself."
Paige Bueckers shares how she balances travel and work
While Paige Bueckers has been traveling around, she was also preparing for her upcoming final college season. She posted videos of her intense training sessions for fans on Instagram and it led many to wonder how she balances her life.
Flau'jae Johnson asked the same question during Bueckers' appearance on her podcast, Best of Both Worlds with Flau'jae. The UConn guard said: (From 11:45)
"Honestly, I kind of schedule everything around my work. Like, make sure I'm getting my work in, my lifts in, my basketball in, and then everything else is like kind of surrounded by that. I also want to make sure I have time for my family. I get to see my family a lot during the college season, so that's been huge for me, going to Minnesota, getting back home.
"This is my first healthy offseason in the summer, so I've really gotten to enjoy it and have fun and been basically everywhere. But it's all fun. I've gotten to work out with a lot of different people and meet and hang out with a lot of different people, so it's all fun."
Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies will begin the 2024-25 season on November 3 against Fort Hays State.
