"Get extra smooches from your pooches": South Carolina HC Dawn Staley incorporates 'Fur daddies' in her Father's Day wish

This basketball season, Dawn Staley received her second unanimous and fourth overall national coach of the year honor after leading the South Carolina Gamecocks to their first undefeated season (38-0) in program history.

On Father's Day, coach Staley's tweet caught attention as she extended her wishes to "fur baby daddies" and encouraged them to enjoy extra love from their pets.

“Oh I need to shoutout all the fur baby daddies too…..happy Father’s Day to you all!! You all count too! Get extra smooches from your pooches!!!” Staley tweeted.

She also expressed her gratitude to all fathers with a heartfelt tweet hours before this:

“HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! To all the fathers who make their family lives better in every way! Blessings be upon you in all your days!”

Seven-time SEC Coach of the Year, Dawn Staley was born on May 4, 1970. She was raised by her parents Clarence, a part-time carpenter, and Estelle Staley, who sadly died in 2017. Her family includes three boys, Lawrence, Anthony, and Eric, as well as two girls, Tracey and Dawn.
