Last-Tear Poa talks about LSU's potential in the SEC
LSU senior Last-Tear Poa talked about what she thinks about the No. 6-ranked Tigers' potential in the Southeastern Conference this season in a chat with teammate Flau'Jae Johnson on the junior guard's podcast, "Best of Both Worlds," on Dec. 20.
"I feel like we're definitely more skilled," she said (Timestamp: 12:11). "We definitely have more bench play as well, but I think just having, like, more experienced transfers this time, obviously Kailyn (Gilbert) coming in, she came from Arizona, and she's killing it.
"So, I think just playing with them and just kind of seeing how they play, because I already known how you, Aneesah (Morrow) and Mikayla (Williams) play. Kind of, like, seeing how the others would.
"But I think that just playing with you guys overall, like, we're going to be definitely faster and we definitely have more threats on the team. So, yeah, it's going to be exciting."
LSU (17-0, 2-0 SEC) under Kim Mulkey, will visit the 16th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers (13-1, 1-1) on Thursday night.
