In an Instagram post by TCU on Tuesday, Horned Frogs center Sedona Prince was spotted sharing the court with star Hailey Van Lith. The transfer point guard put Prince on skates, crossing her up and freezing the big on her way to the basket for an easy layup.
Usually, fans would be thrilled to witness Van Lith get in her bag. However, Prince's controversial breakup with her ex, Olivia Stabile, apparently continues to live in fans' minds. Stabile had also alleged abusive behavior from the 6-foot-7 Prince.
They immediately flooded the comment section to highlight their ongoing dislike for Sedona Prince, asking the program to cut her off the squad:
"Get Sedona out of there," a fan wrote.
"Ew get Sedona off this team 🤢🤢," another fan commented.
"Sedona should be OUTTA there," another fan wrote.
Other fans joined in on the notion by commenting on Sedona's defense in the clip.
"SEDONA GETTIN COOKED," a fan commented.
"Did Sedona even try to defend or like??" another wrote.
"Watching Sedona get cooked in practice is amazing," another fan commented.
Moreover, being a sport, Prince not only ignored the comments around her but also posted one of her own. She appreciated Hailey Van Lith for the deceptive move, admitting that she did not see it coming.
"Did me dirty bro lmao @haileyvanlith," Prince commented.
Sedona Prince has denied Olivia Stabile's accusations against her
According to Olivia Stabile’s 10-part TikTok vlog series posted on Aug. 13, the couple had been to Mexico and decided to have an ATV adventure to a place named "The Arch" at night. On their way, Stabile felt uneasy about the rocky path and asked Prince to head back to the hotel, which is when she claims that the TCU big reacted aggressively.
Stabile claims that Prince abruptly stopped the ATV, shoved her to the ground, and took off after staring at her. The TikTok series claimed that even though Prince returned, she later broke up with Stabile.
Sedona Prince responded to the videos on Aug. 15, addressing the hate her family has been facing because of Stabile’s allegations. She also claimed that the TikTok series is spreading “false narratives and inaccurate information.”
Prince announced a break from social media, citing that her legal counsel would handle the situation from there onwards. On Sept. 2, even though Prince denied the allegations against her, she also released an apology on TikTok, claiming that she is yet to develop to be the best possible partner one could have.
