College basketball fans reacted on social media as Cooper Flagg signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Fanatics and Fanatics Collectibles for trading cards, autographs and memorabilia. The deal comes just days after the Duke freshman set both the school and ACC freshman single-game scoring records with a 42-point performance in a win against Notre Dame.
Fanatics announced Cooper Flagg, whose current NIL value is $4.3 million according to On3, as their newest ambassador through a commercial narrated by Duke and NBA legend Grant Hill.
The commercial highlights Flagg’s first Bowman card alongside other rising stars, including Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs, Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans.
