Gilbert Arenas' ex-wife Laura Govan fires up Louisville hooper daughter Izela Arenas from courtside vs. Colorado

Gilbert Arenas' ex-wife, Laura Govan, showed up courtside to support her daughter Izela Arenas for the No. 24 Louisville Cardinals' game against the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday.

Govan shared videos of Arenas in action on her Instagram stories, shouting "Yeaaaaaa baby" after her daughter made a driving basket in one of the clips.

Arenas and the Cardinals emerged victorious on the road, pulling off a come-from-behind 79-71 win over the Buffaloes. With the victory, Louisville improved its overall record to 5-2.

Govan and Arenas were all smiles after the victory, with the former sharing an Instagram story of them celebrating together following the road win against Colorado.

Arenas and the Cardinals had to dig deep against the Buffaloes, erasing a six-point deficit in the second half. Louisville pulled away in the fourth quarter, unleashing a 16-0 run to turn a one-point deficit into a commanding 72-57 lead with 4:17 remaining.

The Buffaloes made one last push, cutting the Cardinals' lead to 76-69 in the final minute before Arenas sealed the win for Louisville with a pair of free throws.

Arenas finished the game with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including 1-of-4 from beyond the arc. She also had three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes of action.

Three other players scored in double-figures for the Cardinals, who improved to 2-1 on the road this season. Nyla Harris stuffed the stat sheet for Louisville, recording 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block. Tajianna Roberts scored 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting. She also had four steals.

Jayda Curry added 14 points off the bench. The Cardinals' reserves played a crucial role in the victory, scoring 43 of Louisville's 79 points against Colorado. Five bench players scored at least five points for the Cardinals in the win.

Frida Formann scored 25 points in a losing effort for the Buffaloes. She shot 8-for-18 from the field and 7-of-10 from the free throw line.
