As the WNBA season ended, Indiana Fever rookie and former Iowa star Caitlin Clark has been enjoying some time off the court. She attended "The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge" pro-am event at Pelican Golf Club on Wednesday.

Clark played an 18-hole round with two top LPGA players — Annika Sorenstam, a ten-time major winner and Nelly Korda, the current world No. 1.

On Thursday, Clark shared several photos from the event on Instagram, enjoying the sunny Florida weather and her golfing experience.

"Fun day surrounded by two of the best to ever do it," she posted with a 'flag in hole' emoji.

Many of Clark's WNBA and college basketball peers, including Jada Gyamfi, Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall, commented on the post, praising her golfing style.

"Girly girl vibes," Gyamfi, an Iowa junior forward wrote in the comments, adding a ribbon and a heart emoji.

Gyamfi added two more comments:

"Love seeing you in pink," and "Hey thanks for letting me know you posted!"

Here are other comments:

"My favorite golfer girl," Gabbie Marshall commented.
"Shoes are fireeeee," Seattle Storm rookie Kate Marti added.,
"Can you teach me how to golf ? Trying to add it to my resume," Clark's Indiana teammate Aliyah Boston chimed in.

Nelly Korda, who teamed up with Caitlin Clark for a pro-am event, also gave high praise for the WNBA rookie.

"I love that she has a love for the game of golf," Korda said during a press conference.
"And me, I've never really tuned in to watching basketball before her, honestly," Korda continued. "So I think it's just growing the interest in all of women's sports, and I hope that's what grows from this relationship."

Caitlin Clark joked about turning pro in Golf

Caitlin Clark is one of the best rookies in the WNBA, as she averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds.

After Indiana was knocked out of the WNBA playoffs in September, ending her season, Clark spoke with the media about her offseason plans.

"I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow. I don’t know what I’m going to do the next day. Maybe play some golf," she said. "That’s what I’m gonna do until it gets too cold in Indiana. I’ll become a professional golfer."

Caitlin Clark came off one of the best seasons in women's college basketball, where she led Iowa to the national championship game, recording the most points (31.6) and assists (8.9) per game.
