Dawn Staley is collaborating with Mitchell & Ness to present Philadelphia Eagles fans with an opportunity to secure premium tickets for the playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams. Staley, whose net worth is an impressive $12 million (per Celebrity Net Worth), teamed up with the Fanatics acquired flagship store to host a giveaway for fans.

The giveaway offers two lower-level, 50-yard-line tickets for the Eagles vs. Rams matchup on Sunday. Fans are required to like and comment on the video to stand a chance at winning the tickets.

The announcement was shared on Instagram on Tuesday and it showed Staley leading the charge in her signature enthusiastic style.

“Go birds!” Staley said in the video.

The winner will be selected at random and announced at noon on Saturday, giving two lucky fans plenty of time to prepare for the Sunday showdown. Dawn Staley, a Philadelphia native and Hall of Fame basketball coach, is known for her consistent support for the football team, even wearing their jersey to games and practices.

Vic Schaefer praises Dawn Staley after tough loss to South Carolina

After a 67-50 loss to No. 2-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks, No. 7-ranked Texas Longhorns coach Vic Schaefer was full of praise for Dawn Staley. Speaking candidly about Texas’ performance and the challenges posed by the Gamecocks, Schaefer highlighted the stark contrast in mental toughness and competitive spirit between the two squads.

“They were who I thought they were,” Schaefer said, “Their teams are always really, really tough. Their competitive spirit just oozes in the arena.”

The Gamecocks, known for their disciplined and relentless approach, forced Texas into mistakes that Schaefer admitted were tough for his Texas team.

“When I play against her [Dawn Staley] teams, they very rarely get outside of their bodies. They don’t get outside of their mind. They have a way they want to do things, and they do it,” he explained.

Schaefer, whose Texas team was on a nine-game winning streak, was visibly frustrated by what he described as an uncharacteristic performance.

“I thought we were really mentally weak today,” Schaefer said. “I was so disappointed. I looked out there sometimes, thinking, ‘Who is that?’”
“We just went south in a hurry. We did a lot of uncharacteristic things. But that’s what a team like that will do to you. It’s what we normally do to people.”

Schaefer lamented that his Longhorns failed to set the tone and instead reacted to South Carolina’s dominance.

Texas will have the chance to settle scores when it faces the Gamecocks again on Feb. 9.
