LSU faced Stanford in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Thursday, with Mikaylah Williams and Flau’jae Johnson attracting a lot of attention in Baton Rouge. Although Johnson fouled out with just over a minute left in overtime, she finished with 21 points, while sophomore standout Williams scored 9 of her 29 points in the final 5:24 of regulation.
The win extended LSU’s record to 9-0, as Williams continued her clutch play in the extra period, hitting her fifth three-pointer to seal the 94-88 victory.

Williams talked about Mulkey’s habit of tripping over her white Nike Air Max sneakers during team meetings.

Johnson then chimed in describing Mulkey's habit of throwing out "off-the-wall sh*t" that often leaves the room in stitches.
Flau’jae revealed another struggle with the head coach, trying to maintain composure during Mulkey’s rants. She confessed that making eye contact with Mulkey mid-rant always ends in uncontrollable laughter.
Flau’jae Johnson has joined the Unrivaled league via a landmark NIL partnership. The Unrivaled League, founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, is set to debut in January 2025.
Though NCAA rules prevent Johnson from playing professionally until she finishes her college career, she has already secured a stake in the league’s success,
