Hailey Van Lith is turning heads again, and her former LSU teammate Angel Reese couldn’t be more excited. On Sunday, Van Lith shared some stunning photos of herself rocking the TCU Horned Frogs blue jersey. She captioned the Instagram post:

“The Intro.”

Reese, now a WNBA star with the Chicago Sky, hyped up her former teammate in the comments section, writing:

“She’s backkkkkk.”

LSU’s Janae Kent and Last-Tear Poa also jumped in, sharing heart emojis to show their love.

Van Lith, a two-time first-team All-ACC player, earned her master’s degree from LSU in August and announced her transfer to TCU for the 2024-25 season in April.

She’s already making waves—fresh off winning a 3x3 medal at the Paris Summer Olympics and being named Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Year, sharing the honor with Baylor’s Aaronette Vonleh.

Van Lith has also been named to the preseason All-Conference team. She becomes the fifth Horned Frog to earn a spot on the preseason All-Big 12 team. She joins an impressive lineup of past TCU standouts, including Sedona Prince (2023), Lauren Heard (2020, 2021), Amy Okonkwo (2018) and Zahna Medley (2014).

The TCU Horned Frogs, who were projected to finish fourth in the Big 12 preseason poll, are poised for a comeback after a challenging 2023-24 season.

Hailey Van Lith chose TCU to strengthen its backcourt and embrace new opportunities. Last season, she posted a career-high 19.7 points, 3.2 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Van Lith has been a consistent leader, taking her teams to the Elite Eight three years in a row and making it to the Final Four as a freshman. Over her four-year college career, she’s averaged 14.4 points, four rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

The Horned Frogs kick off their 2024-25 season in just a month, facing Houston Christian on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in Schollmaier Arena.

TCU will begin its Big 12 journey on Dec. 21 in Orlando against UCF.
