Hailey Van Lith produced solid numbers of 15 points, two rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two blocks to help TCU trample Samford 103-64 in a women's college basketball clash on Tuesday at the Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 5-foot-9 Van Lith shot 6 of 10 from the field, including 2 of 5 from the 3-point line, and 1 of 2 from free throws in 34 minutes of action for the No. 12-ranked Horned Frogs, who improved to 11-1 (9-0 at home).
The guard scored her first two points on a layup that gave TCU a 4-3 lead with 6:40 left in the first quarter. Van Lith's first points were sandwiched by two assists to Madison Conner who came up with five points in those plays.
The LSU transfer buried a jumper and her second layup that put the Horned Frogs back on the driver's seat. Van Lith would record another dime, this time to Donovyn Hunter, who made a layup for a 27-18 advantage in the first period.
The Wenatchee, Washington native played the role of a playmaker in the second frame, dishing out three assists to Deasia Merrill, Conner and Aaliyah Roberson. She'd score a point on a free throw but had two blocks and one steal as the Horned Frogs built a 55-31 lead at the half.
Van Lith produced two points, one rebound and two assists in the third quarter to help TCU pile up the points for an 81-48 advantage. She'd make two triples in the fourth period before resting in the middle part of the quarter when the win was already in the bag.

TCU demolished Samford to grab its 11th win in the 2024-25 women's college basketball season on Tuesday. Madison Conner sizzled for 33 points on 10 of 21 shooting, including 8 of 16 connections from the 3-point line and had a perfect 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.
Conner also tallied six rebounds, four assists and one block for TCU who built a 55-31 halftime lead and didn't look back to secure the win. Hailey Van Lith continued her solid showing this season, finishing with 15 points, two rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two blocks.
Donovyn Hunter, Deasia Merrill and Aaliyah Roberson also put up double-figure games for the Horned Frogs, who picked up their ninth straight win at home. Hunter scored 14 while Merrill and Roberson added 13 and 10 markers, respectively.
TCU shot 50% from the field, including 45.7% from the 3-point line, and dominated the rebounding battle 48-24 and the assists department 26-14. They also outscored in fast break points (26-10) and points in the paint (40-24) for a solid outing.
