Haley Cavinder and her twin sister Hanna hosted their podcast "Twin Talk" and brought some famous personalities like Jake Paul to her podcast. During one of the episodes, Haley talked about her first-ever experience going to a casino in Las Vegas and winning her first bet.
"I went to Vegas the first time we just turned 21," Haley said. "My dad took us all with a bunch of people and he was like ... I'm so frugal when it comes to anything. He gave me 50 bucks and I got to the roulette table and I was just betting mine and Hanna's numbers like 14 and 15, like our jersey numbers, like first $500 the whole week. I didn't bet again, I just went to cash in."
"She bought shoes though and Alexasnder McQueen," Hanna interjected.
"Because first of all, it wasn't my money. Because that was one of my big purchase. It was like, okay, I wasn't supposed even supposed to win this money, even spend a dime on it," Haley added.
The college stars have purchased many luxurious materials as their NIL earnings continue to rise ($1.7 million, as per SN). Thus, it seems like the sneakers are no longer the most expensive item Haley owns.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder reveal the reason behind their return to college basketball
The Cavinder twins are returning to their fifth and final season of women's college basketball. Haley and Hanna will play for the Miami Hurricanes and will hope to lead the team to next year's NCAAW championship tournament.
The sisters took a break from the hardwood floor to focus on building their brands but then Haley announced that she would play with the TCU Horned Frogs. Seeing her sister preparing to get ready on the court, Hanna also decided to come back to college.
“When I made the decision to stop playing, I was excited to get more involved in the businesses and brands we are part of,” Hanna told The New York Post in an email interview.
“But watching Haley train and get ready for the season made me realize that I wasn’t ready to stop playing. I love basketball and I know I won’t be able to play it forever. Being with my sister is the perfect way to finish out my career.”
Their ambition led to Haley Cavinder de-committing from TCU to play with the Hurricanes with her sister. The return is expected to be a triumphant one, as both of them feel like "they have more to give" to the game.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder expressed gratitude to their coaches, teammates and family members after committing to the program.
