Hannah Hidalgo filled up the stat sheet on Sunday, leading Notre Dame to an easy 118-49 win over Eastern Michigan in the 2024-25 women's college basketball season. Hidalgo finished with 27 points, four rebounds, four assists and six steals in 24 minutes for the Fighting Irish, who improved to 9-2.

The 5-foot-6 guard shot 10-for-14, including 2-for-4 from the 3-point line. Hidalgo made all five attempts from the free-throw line in another stellar performance for the sophomore star.

The Merchantville, New Jersey, native spearheaded Notre Dame's surge, scoring eight points on a 3-pointer, a layup and three free throws. She also recorded two rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Fighting Irish, who built a 33-9 lead in the first quarter.

Hidalgo added four points in the second quarter on two layups and helped Notre Dame build a 61-20 lead at halftime. She tallied two rebounds, one assist and one steal, recording 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals in the first 20 minutes.

The sophomore guard added nine points, one assist and two steals in the third quarter, helping Notre Dame secure a 92-30 advantage. Hidalgo resumed her scoring clinic in the fourth period, adding six points on three layups and a steal before resting midquarter.

Hannah Hidalgo, Emma Risch and Cassandre Prosper scored 20 or more points to lead Notre Dame to a 118-49 win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday at the Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana, in a 2024-25 women's college basketball season game.

Hidalgo led the Fighting Irish offense with 27 points, while Risch and Prosper added 23 and 20 points, respectively. The ACC team sustained its relentless attack in the first three quarters before coasting to the win.

Olivia Miles contributed 18 points, three rebounds, eight assists, five steals and one block for Notre Dame, while Liatu King added 15 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal. Sonia Citron finished with 11 points, two rebounds and two steals for the Niele Ivey-coached squad, which is coming off a big win over No. 2-ranked UConn.

Notre Dame had a field day offensively, making 67.6% of its shots from the field, including a sizzling 66.7% from the 3-point line. The Fighting Irish also dominated in the non-scoring stats, ruling rebounds (41-28), assists (27-6) and steals (17-2). Notre Dame improved to 5-0 at home and 9-2 overall.

Notre Dame will see action next Sunday against Loyola Maryland in a game scheduled to start at 12 noon at the Purcell Pavilion.
