Paige Bueckers made her fashion show debut last weekend as she attended the New York Fashion Week. The UConn guard made an appearance at the spring/summer 2025 shows for Tombogo, Who Decides War and Off-White.
Bueckers went viral for her outfit at the Off-White show, where she wore a pair of black pants and a jacket, embellished with oversized pastel-colored butterflies. The guard posted the pictures with the outfit to her Instagram on Thursday and captioned it:
"butterFLY 🦋"
Tennis star Coco Gauff reacted to the post as she wrote:
"Harddd."
Former Stanford center and Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink commented:
"I'm obsessed."
While attending the Who Decides War show, Paige Bueckers caught up with French magazine Marie Claire and spoke about her NYFW experience.
"I'm having a great time. It's my first fashion week, so I'm very excited to be here. It's all new to me. I'm learning," Bueckers said.
"Stepping outside my comfort zone, continue to find who I am in fashion, exploring my masculine side, my feminine side and just mixing both, and just continue to get comfortable in my own skin and finding different ways to express myself."
Coco Gauff promises to return the favor and attend Paige Bueckers' games
Paige Bueckers spent her summer on a "world tour" as she traveled from coast to coast supporting her former teammates in the WNBA while tackling some side quests. One such was the U.S. Open, which she attended to support Frances Tiafoe and Coco Gauff.
Bueckers, along with UConn teammate Azzi Fudd, were in the VIP box at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York City, to support Guaff. The tennis star commented on the Huskies players' presence and said:
"I think I got some of the good vibes from them to help me back me through. I saw Paige and both of them standing up, getting out of their seats. So it was great to have that support, and hopefully I can return the favor at one of their games."
Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd will be playing their final college season this fall. This will be Bueckers' last chance to end UConn's nine-year championship drought while also setting the stage for a potential No. 1 position in the 2025 WNBA draft.
