Hannah Hidalgo comments on her standout performance
After a stellar freshman season where she averaged 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.6 steals, Hannah Hidalgo is set to build on Notre Dame's Sweet 16 run for this year's campaign.
In terms of rivalry, Saturday's performance and the victory will give Hidalgo a big boost in the 'Battle of the Sophomore Guards.' However, the guard is less focused on those.
“I don’t want to take the game for granted,” Hidalgo said. “I’m just excited and blessed to play the game of basketball. It’s a privilege to do it at this high level. I’m just having fun.”
Notre Dame is on a five-game winning streak. It will next face Hailey Van Lith's TCU on Friday.
