Caitlin Clark was drafted first overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, landing with the Indiana Fever.

The former Iowa Hawkeyes star was asked about the local Indiana Pacers and their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton. She took the opportunity to take a shot at the Iowa State Cyclones, where the two-time All-Star played his college basketball:

"Honestly, I've watched the Pacers very closely. I have my boyfriend who works for the Pacers so I've become quite a fan, but I mean Tyrese is incredible, and I just want to congratulate him, obviously, being named to the USA national team today was pretty special.
"It's a really hard accomplishment, and, obviously, he played for a very terrible team in college, but it's nice to be in the same city now."
