Flau'Jae Johnson and Kia Brooks enjoyed a special mother-daughter moment in the spirit of the Christmas season. Brooks, who is the LSU star's manager, shared a video on her Instagram story that showed her doing her daughter's makeup while she danced happily.
"I love my daughter. She's home for the holidays," she captioned the post.
However, Johnson looked at the camera and said:
"I ain’t never coming back,” before she broke into laughter.
Johnson is considered one of the best players in college women's basketball and a top WNBA draft prospect. She is averaging 20.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.1 assists and has led No. 5 LSU to reach a 14-0 undefeated run so far this season.
Apart from basketball, Johnson is a fast-rising rapper, having been inspired by her late dad, rapper Jason Johnson, also known as Camoflauge.

Flau'Jae Johnson is loved on and off the pitch. The LSU star shined in the Tigers' 91-73 victory over the UIC Flames at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Johnson scored 23 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field to help LSU stay unbeaten in 14 games.
Her proud mother, Kia Brooks, shared a video clip of Johnson meeting up with fans in Chicago on TikTok.
"Witnessing my daughter's tireless efforts come to fruition is truly oveerwhelming and brings me to tears. Seeing @Flaujae fans show their love and appreciation is a breathtaking sight, and it's a testament to the dedication and hardwork we've invested over the years. Small story short: Don't ever quit, it will happen," she captioned the video.
LSU was formidable from the start of the game despite gallant efforts by the UIC. Johnson scored nine points in the first quarter to lead the Tigers to an 18-11 lead. Then she added another point to make it 10 points at the end of the first half. She also added four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
In the second half, Johnson was on the scoresheet again with six points, pairing with teammate Aneesah Morrow, who made a successful return to her hometown with 19 points and 13 rebounds to build a 21-point lead. Johnson also added four rebounds, an assist, and a steal to finish the quarter.
The Georgia native would pick up an additional seven points and three rebounds to ensure that the Tigers came away with the victory.
