The highly anticipated Amazon Prime docuseries 'The Money Game' featuring LSU star Flau'jae Johnson premiered Tuesday. The six-part miniseries navigates the NIL journey of four top LSU college athletes: Angel Reese, Livvy Dunne, Jayden Daniels and Johnson herself.
Livvy Dunne, the highest NIL-valued female athlete, shared a trailer clip of the show on Instagram as it debuted on Prime Video. LSU's Flau'jae was also featured in the clip as she talked about the opportunities she has had to leverage her NIL money.
"I love the game. I can also take care of my family," Flau'jae said.
The five-foot-10 guard holds third place on the Women's NIL 100 list by On3, with a valuation of $1.2 million, trailing only behind Dunne and Paige Bueckers.
Flau'jae Johnson, a multi-talented athlete, is also a rapper. Her debut EP "Best of Both Worlds," released in June, turned out to be a hit. One of the tracks from the album, "Came Out A Beast," featuring rap legend Lil Wayne, has been listed on the NFL's official playlist for this season.
Johnson and Dunne arrived in New York on Monday to begin their promotional tour for "The Money Game." She shared a behind the scenes video on her Instagram story of the duo doing an interview alongside Trace Young.
Flau'jae Johnson says she is serious about NIL deals
Flau'jae Johnson, a Savannah, Georgia native, will enter her junior year in Baton Rouge this upcoming season, having made an impact both on and off the court.
Along with her hardwood journey, Johnson has also uplifted her music career, collaborating with big names like Lil Wayne. According to On3, she has signed three NIL deals with Bazooka, Apple Cash and JBL Audio.
"Determining the value for NIL deals is something I take very seriously," Flau'jae told On3 in June. "Between my music career and brand endorsements, my deals amount to about $4.5 million, which gives a substantial indication of my market value.
"While I stay actively involved in understanding this value, I heavily rely on my team of advisors, including my representation, to negotiate deals that reflect my worth accurately. They use a combination of market trends, my performance metrics, and personal brand impact to evaluate opportunities."
Furthermore, Flau'jae Johnson's popularity on social media has been on a steep rise. She has gained 3.7 million followers and does a brilliant job promoting both herself and the brands she collaborates with on her socials.
