During the post-game conference after the game against Georgetown on Sunday, Paige Bueckers humorously pointed out what frazzles freshman Sarah Strong: her gaming skills. The star guard joked that Strong gets nervous whenever opposing teams charge at her squad in Fortnite, developed by Epic Games, which is valued at $22.5 billion.

Bueckers then praised Strong's ability to contain her emotions and stay focused on the court, although Strong couldn't resist sparking some playful trash talk between the two players:

"I don't need to, we know who's better," Strong said (8:00).
"That wasn't the point," Paige Bueckers replied.
"I don't care, I'm just better than you," Strong added.

Paige Bueckers (24 points) and Sarah Strong (17 points) combined for 41 of UConn's 79 points, nearly outscoring the entire Georgetown roster, which tallied just 44 points. Bueckers also added three steals, while Strong grabbed 15 rebounds, bolstering the Huskies' defensive efforts.

Strong is coming off her best two-game stretch, lifting the Huskies' offense when Bueckers struggled against Holy Cross and Louisville. The guard managed only 19 points in the two contests, shooting a disappointing 30% from the field. Meanwhile, Strong capitalized on the opportunity, scoring 43 points on over 70% shooting.

Geno Auriemma wants Sarah Strong to act like one of the best players in the nation

Following Strong's impressive back-to-back performances, Geno Auriemma outlined a blueprint for the freshman to elevate her college basketball career. He encouraged the forward to loosen up, trust her abilities and carry herself like an All-American player.

"The next step and I think this will show itself before the end of the season, I'm convinced," Auriemma said to NBC Connecticut. "Act like you are a first-team all-American as opposed to 'I'm new here, I'm a freshman and we have a lot of good players and this is UConn so let me just blend in.'"
"It is hard for somebody like that to just blend in. So, accepting that you are really, really, really good and without putting a lot of pressure on it. There are not many freshmen in America that are doing what you are doing at the level we are trying to play at, so act like it."

Sarah Strong is averaging 16.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game. She was named the Big East Player of the Week and Big East Freshman of the Week earlier this month and is leading the Huskies in rebounds, steals and blocks.
