Flau’jae Johnson, the talented LSU Tigers guard opened up to LSU men's team player Trace Young about having "smoke" with the LSU men's basketball team on a recent episode of her Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae podcast.
"I got a little bit of smoke with the men's basketball team," Johnson said. "Because y'all always leave the weight room, not how y'all found it. Every time I go in there, some weight is out of place. Things that y'all be using y'all need to put them back at the top. Every time we leave, we leave the weight room spick and span."
Young came to the support of his LSU men's basketball teammates, and defended himself and his teammates from the claims that Johnson made. He said:
"I clean it every time. This is cap. I clean up (for) our group every time."
Despite Young's denial, Johnson said that she had photos to prove her point that the women's basketball team was always greeted by an unkempt weight room.
"I got pictures too. I got about 12 pictures," Flau'jae said on her podcast
Trace Young then explained that the weight room situation may have been caused by the LSU Gymnastics team who also used the same gym. Johnson then spoke about how coach Kim Mulkey ensured that women's basketball program kept things in order and that they would never leave behind a disorganized weight room.
Flau’jae Johnson's performance against the Gamecocks

She was the second highest scorer for the team alongside Mikaylah Williams. Aneesah Morrow led the team in scoring with 15 points.
Despite Johnson's effort, her team failed to claim the victory, with the result leaving them trailing the Gamecocks in the SEC. The LSU Tigers will look to bounce back from their first defeat when they face the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday.
