Angel Reese's first WNBA offseason just got more exciting as on January 8, The Chicago Sky star became a cover star of the Vogue Winter 2025 issue, which allowed her to flaunt her flamboyant style in the photo shoot.

Several known faces in the nation flocked to the comments section to shower praise. Among them were Last-Tear Poa and Kateri Poole, who were Reese's teammates at LSU in the last two seasons of her college basketball career.

Angel Reese reveals how fashion has always been a part of her life

In Vogue's cover story, written by Maya Singer, Angel Reese, nicknamed the "Bayou Barbie," revealed how fashion always went hand-in-hand with basketball, mentioning her affection for accessories and stunning outfits.

"It’s always been both: basketball and fashion," said Reese. "But I was a fashion girlie from young too. I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff. I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do."

Reese shared the honor of being the cover star for Vogue's Winter 2025 edition alongside Gabby Thomas, who won gold in the 200m event at the 2024 Paris Olympics and Frances Tiafoe, who made the semi-finals of the Men's Singles event at the 2024 US Open.

Reese transferred to LSU ahead of the 2022-23 season following two strong seasons at Maryland. She enjoyed immense success at Baton Rouge, leading the Tigers to their maiden national championship in 2023 while averaging an astonishing 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds.

In that season, Reese also earned unanimous All-American honors and won an ESPY for the Best Breakthrough Athlete.
