Kiyan Anthony shares a special bond with his mother, La La Anthony. Despite getting a divorce from her ex-husband, 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony, in June 2021, she spends quality time with the teenage son they share frequently, and Kiyan is a common feature in her activity on social media.
On January 3, another example of their connection was seen in La La Anthony's latest TikTok video. In the video, they took part in an Ice Bath Challenge along with some of their loved ones, which turned into a game within moments.
At the beginning of the video, La La's cousin Zaynah took her place in the ice bath and stood a chance to win $500 if she could stay in it for five minutes. Soon after Zaynah accomplishing the feat, it was La La's turn to dip her leg into the ice bath for one whole minute.
Soon after the countdown, La La took her leg out of the bath as soon as her toes made contact with the freezing water. Kiyan reminded her she needed to get her leg "all the way down," which prompted a fierce retort from his mother.
La La Anthony exclaimed, "Kiy, I will fight you!"
After completing the challenge, La La took to nursing her cold leg, and expressed how uncomfortable she felt in that moment.
"I don't feel good. I don't like that," said Anthony.
