"I respect the hustle": LSU star Flau'jae Johnson reveals her favorite Christmas song but it's not the one by Mariah Carey

LSU Tigers player and rapper Flau'jae Johnson is getting into the holiday spirit. In the latest episode of her YouTube show "Best of Both Worlds with Flau'jae" last week, the junior did a holiday draft in which she listed her favorite holiday things, from songs to gifts.

She started the segment by revealing her favorite holiday song, and it wasn't what some might have thought it would be. Although, for Johnson, it made sense.

"My top holiday song — it's not that Mariah Carey song. ... I respect the hustle but ... I love Swae Lee song," Johnson said (Timestamp: 38:27.) "He did a Christmas song I listen to it all the time. It's called 'Christmas at Swae's.' I'm putting y'all down."

"I love Swae Lee. Like, I think he's super hard. I think I got a chance to meet him at the studio with Mike WiLL (Made-It). Bro, he was so chill, him and (Slim) Jxmmi, they were so, cool. But yeah, it's called 'Christmas at Swae's.' That's my favorite Christmas song. It's fire."

She followed her top holiday song choice with another of her favorites by Chris Brown.

"And then I gotta go with Chris Brown, the original. Chris Brown 'This Christmas,' like, yes, of course, because that's my favorite movie," Johnson said (Timestamp: 39:03).

Flau'jae Johnson and LSU stay undefeated as they go into Christmas break

Flau'jae Johnson and the No. 5 LSU Tigers beat Illinois Chicago 91-73 on Thursday night, improving to 14-0.

Aneesah Morrow had 19 points and 13 rebounds as she made her long-awaited homecoming to her native town, while Johnson added 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Mikaylah Williams dropped 17 points to go along with seven assists.

The Tigers pulled away in the third quarter and never looked back after a tight first half. They'll now head into the holiday break on a high and full of optimism, as they enjoy their Christmas undefeated.

Flau'jae Johnson and the Tigers will return from their break on Dec. 29 to take on Albany in the Maravich Center.
