Kiyan Anthony, NBA great Carmelo Anthony's son, is confident of him and his mother, La La Anthony, defeating Bryce and Savannah James in a hypothetical matchup. The high school senior joined the second episode of Sloane Weinstein's talk show SloaneKnows: NEXT on Tuesday.

Sloane asked Kiyan Anthony who would win in a matchup between him and Bryce James along with both of their mothers joining in.

"I think we will win," Anthony said. "'Cause my mom played high school basketball and I don't know if Savannah ever played basketball. Then me and Bryce obviously played against each other all the time, so we going to be going at it. But I feel like my mom got the edge."

When it came to scoring, Kiyan Anthony predicted that while his team would take the winning 11 points, Bryce and Savannah would score eight, with the most points coming from his fellow shooting guard.

The two 17-year-olds are preparing for their senior season, with Kiyan at Long Island Luther High in New York and Bryce James at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles.

Kiyan Anthony praises Bryce James' basketball skills

Although they were raised and played basketball on opposite ends of the country, Kiyan and Bryce have played against each other at the Nike EYBL games. James plays with Strive For Greatness, while Anthony plays for his father's Team Melo.

In Saturday's episode of his Overtime show, "The Kiyan Anthony Show", the guard praised James' skills.

"He's a sharpshooter. He can really shoot," Anthony said. "When he gets hot, he really don't miss. He bouncy. He is bouncier than me. I ain't even going to lie. I'm not even going to say it looks like his pops, but it kinda do look like his pops when he dunk a little bit."
"We basically grew up together even though he lived in LA, but that's really like family. That's like my cousin."

Anthony also opened up about his rivalry with Bryce and pointed out the comparison between the two and their famous fathers.

"My pops and his pops played together on the Lakers," Anthony said. "It was a little different situation, because they wasn't rivals, they was really best friends, but the media always going to make it seem like they got something against each other.
"It's not similar with me and Bryce, but everybody just want one of us to be like, 'I'm way better than him.' We would never say that about each other. We just go out there and compete."

Kiyan and Bryce are set to make important college decisions this fall. The two could play in the same team as both have Ohio State on their list of potential schools.

However, Anthony has more to choose from as he also has Auburn, Syracuse, Rutgers, Florida State and USC on his list. Meanwhile, James' only other offer is reportedly from Duquesne.
