UConn star Paige Bueckers announced her new partnership with Madison Reed on Tuesday. Bueckers, who has NIL deals worth $1 million per On3, will further boost her worth with the beauty-athlete collaboration.
On Instagram, Bueckers showed off her new pink-dyed hair to flaunt to help the brand launch ColorWonder, its first demi-permanent hair dye.
Bueckers expressed her excitement in the caption of her Instagram post.
"Blessed to partner with @madisonreed as a Brand Ambassador and share how ColorWonder lets me have fun with my hair color. Madison Reed is a company whose values align with mine and I’m proud to get behind their mission of empowering and creating opportunities for women with @amyerrett," Bueckers wrote.
As per reports, Bueckers and fellow UConn teammate Azzi Fudd will function as long-term ambassadors and impact advisers to Madison Reed. Two other Huskies stars, Ice Brady and Morgan Cheli, also fronted the launch of ColorWonder.
Bueckers appears to be making the most of her NIL at the college level. Less than a week ago, reports claimed that she was set to sign a deal with the women's basketball league, Unrivaled, and the league was to offer her a stake in the company.
Moreover, Bueckers teamed with top brands, including Nike, StockX and Chegg, in the past.
Paige Bueckers is working hard in the offseason to help UConn win a national title
In February this year, Paige Bueckers announced she would return to UConn for the 2024-25 season. She also spoke during the Nike x WNBA This is Winning Basketball live show at the WNBA All-Star weekend and outlined her ambitions to win a national title.
"I know I'm not at the top, at the peak of my performance," Bueckers said. "I'm not anywhere where I wanna be. So. I'm always motivated by that, always motivated by wanting to win. I haven't won a national championship. So. I'm trying to get there. I'm tryna work for it.
"It's super motivating when you go to UConn, you only think of one thing, that's winning national championships and you get to do it, so that's been motivating me a lot.
Bueckers has twice been named the Big East Player of the Year. However, she will aim to potentially leave college basketball with a national title at the end of next season.
