Recently, Shelomi Sanders got her braids done. She posted stories on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of her new look. Shelomi then also shared a post on social media where we see her flaunting her braids while basking in the sun during a clear, sunny day.

She was seen sporting a gray sweatshirt along with a beautiful necklace with her initials on it. In the last photo of the post, Shelomi added a quote that read:

"This her world, she getting whateva she want."

After beginning her collegiate career at Jackson State, Shelomi Sanders followed her father and brothers to Colorado. The young hooper got limited time on the Buffaloes women's basketball roster, playing for just 12 minutes in five games. She managed to average a total of 0.6 points and 0.6 rebounds per game during the 2023-24 season.

After just one season in Boulder, Shelomi made the decision to hit the transfer portal, during which she made her commitment to Alabama A&M. Deion Sanders was not particularly happy with her daughter's decision and voiced out his opinions during an interview, calling the decision 'stupid'.

"Which was stupid. You get a team before you enter the portal. That's what I would advise a child," Sanders said. "You got to understand I am a father man. I'm a real father, I'm a real man, a real dad. Where I come from historically, kids follow their parents. "
"When do parents start following their kids? That doesn't work in my book. That doesn't work where I am from. I am the leader of my family. I have been dictating where my kids go, not them dictating where I go," he added.

After transferring to Alabama A&M, Shelomi Sanders is putting in the time and dedication during the offseason, working out rigorously for the new journey ahead. Her mother, Pilar Sanders, recently shared a post showcasing her support in her daughter's journey.

In the video, we see Shelomi showcasing her dribbling and shooting skills while working on building a strong foundation and mentality with the help of her trainers. Her mother captioned the video with some words of encouragement:

"Yeaaaasssss! Keep backing them down baby! Go @shelomisanders."

While the youngest of the Sanders clan is far away from her family, she will be looking forward to carving her own path of success in the sport she has a passion for. It will be interesting to see how Shelomi Sanders performs in her debut campaign in the SWAC conference.
