Kiyan Anthony’s mom La La Anthony is always wearing stylish outfits and high-end designer jewellery. The "Unforgettable" star took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share a new crop of photos wearing a beautiful necklace.
La La was seen rocking a black crop top and black pants as she posed with the dazzling necklace on full display.
"Whole time I’m the love of my life 🤍," she captioned the post.
The post also featured a video of the former MTV host walking through a hotel hallway, showing off the piece of bling and ending with a kiss toward the camera. The last image was a selfie of Anthony as she stood in front of a mirror wearing the same all-black outfit.
Scrolling through the comment section of the post, her fans have positive responses. Former LSU star Angel Reese also had nothing but praise for Kiyan's mom's look. Reese commented with two smiling face with heart eyes emojis.
La La Anthony opens up about her long struggle with a medical condition
For more than three decades, La La Anthony has been in the public eye as a television personality, actress and businesswoman.
Starting as a host at WHTA-FM radio, she made a breakthrough in the early 2000s becoming a VJ for MTV where she cohosted Total Request Live, a beloved music video countdown show.
But not everyone is aware of the disease she has been fighting behind her outwardly-glamorous lifestyle. Anthony has been suffering from plaque psoriasis, a chronic and inflammatory skin condition, for many years:
"This is the first time I'm really talking about it publicly… but you just get that 'aha' moment where you realize 'I wasn't put in this position to not utilize my voice and my platform for good,'" La La Anthony told Newsweek this week.
"It's also about letting people know that I'm not ashamed of it, it's not a scary thing," she added. "I've just had to figure out ways to live with it, being a public figure and someone that's on TV, whether it's how I do my hair or something that I wear or working out if I have an itchy patch, how do I cover that?"
The "BMF" and "Power" actress also advocated for others with the disease, reminding them that they are not alone and can continue to live with confidence despite their diagnosis. Over six million people are suffering from the disease in the United States and her story helps give hope to those who feel ashamed of their condition.
