LSU Tigers guard Flau'jae Johnson is spending her offseason traveling and training for the upcoming college season. She was in New York on Saturday and posted about her trip on Instagram.

Standing in front of NBC Studios, Johnson wore an all-denim outfit. She paired her denim jorts with a white crop tee and a denim jacket.

"24hrs in New York❤️," Johnson wrote in the caption.

A huge part of Johnson's travels this offseason was to promote her debut EP "Best of Both Worlds" which was released in June. The album features collaborations with Louisiana native Lil Wayne and NLE Choppa, among others.

The LSU guard's travel diaries this summer also include her trip to France in June where she performed at the Cannes Lions bash. She was present at the WNBA All-Star Weekend in July, where she went viral for serenading A'ja Wilson and her friendship with Paige Bueckers.

In late July, Flau'jae Johnson joined her LSU Tigers teammates for an educational trip to Croatia and Greece. In an episode of her 'Best of Both Worlds' podcast with Bueckers in August, Johnson reminisced about the trip.

"Wow, it was beautiful," Flau'jae said. "My favorite place was Santorini I posted on Twitter that I'm going to have my wedding there. So my future boo wherever you at wherever you are please know we are having our wedding in Santorini."

Flau'jae Johnson credits her mother, Kia Brooks, for all her success

Flau'jae Johnson is one of the few student-athletes who has a thriving career in their chosen sport along with a successful second career. As a basketball player and musician, Johnson is an example to other athletes of successfully capitalizing on one's talents.

During her appearance on SiriusXM College on SEC Radio on Tuesday, Johnson credited her mother Kia Brooks for laying down the foundation for all her success.

"It was all my mom," Johnson said. "Ever since I was in high school, she was like 'She's gonna be the first hooper rapper national champion.' And it was like her whole thing and I was like 'Okay, Imma just go with the flow.'"
"But then when stuff started to fall in line, I was like 'Oh this can actually be possible,'" she added.

With the success of her debut album and the 2023 NCAA championship, Johnson could have more coming her way as she prepares for the 2024-25 season.
