South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley recently showed off her style on Instagram, sporting Travis Scott's signature shoe line. Both Staley and Scott were in Paris—Scott for the Olympics, and Staley to experience the USA games firsthand, cheering on Team USA and sharing her support through social media throughout the event.
The U.S. had an incredible showing, racking up 126 medals, with China trailing behind with 91.
In her Friday post, Staley shared pictures of Scott’s signature shoes, playfully captioning it:
“I just got plugged! @travisscott your shoe game is strong! And mine is too because of you! Let’s keep killing the game!”
On another note, Scott made headlines after being released without charges following his arrest in Paris this week. The incident involved an alleged altercation with a security guard and his bodyguard at a luxury hotel.
However, on Saturday, French authorities closed the case, deeming the offense "not sufficiently serious," according to NBC News.
Dawn Staley basks in Paris Olympics
Dawn Staley soaked up a different Olympics experience this time around in Paris, enjoying life as a fan. With a wide smile at the Nike Athlete's House during the Games, she said:
“I’m living my best life,” Staley said [H/t AP News]. “This is lovely.”
Staley’s spirits got an extra boost when the U.S. women’s soccer team clinched gold against Brazil. According to AP News, she won a bet with former Gamecocks star Kamila Cardoso, avoiding the fate of wearing a Brazil jersey at a South Carolina game.
“It’s been an awesome time,” Staley said.
