Cavinder twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder had their pilates workout session with their mother Katie Cavinder and sister Brandi Perkins on Monday morning. The twins, who played in Miami's 68-64 loss to Virginia Tech on Sunday, shared a selfie with their mother and sister.
"Monday am crew," the caption read.
The Cavinder twins are big advocates of a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and a healthy diet. They launched their fitness app, Twogether in May 2024 to promote different types of workouts and high-protein meals.
The twins also signed NIL deals with healthy food brands, the most recent of which is the historical deal with GHOST, a sports nutrition brand.
Cavinder twins in action as Miami suffers heartbreaking home loss to Virginia Tech
Miami women's basketball suffered a disappointing 68-64 loss at home against Virginia Tech on Sunday. Haley and Hanna had a good game but they fell short as the Hurricanes suffered their fifth loss of the season.
Haley finished with 12 points, six rebounds and a game-high six assists. Hanna added nine points, as Miami shot 44.6 percent from the field and 81.8 percent at the free throw line.
Miami started strong, with a 6-0 lead after burying three of their first four shot attempts. However, Virginia Tech fought back and both teams were 10 points apiece with 3:33 left in the first quarter. Then the Hokies outscored the Canes 6-5 to end the quarter with a 16-15 lead.
It was the same back-and-forth story in the second quarter, with Miami and Virginia Tech tied at 28 points each at halftime. However, the Canes gained momentum in the third quarter, going on a 14-2 run to lead 42-30 at 4:16. They ended the quarter with a seven-point lead.
Miami went on an 8-3 run to take a 59-47 lead with just 7:36 to play in the fourth quarter. However, Virginia Tech fought back again and took one-point lead with 1:03 remaining. The Canes took a free throw to even the score but the Hokies were fouled and took down a couple of free throws to retake the lead.
Miami failed to even the score again after missing a shot, allowing Virginia Tech to make two more free throws to walk away with the win.
