Miami Hurricanes players Hanna and Haley Cavinder rang in the season of joy with their family. The twins posted pictures from their Christmas Eve celebrations with their sisters, Brandi, Brooke, and Natalie and their mother, Katie Cavinder, on Instagram on Tuesday.
Haley Cavinder shared the photos on her Instagram story and wrote:

"MAMA CAV."

Hanna and Haley Cavinder have enjoyed an incredible return to college basketball this season. After taking a year off, the twins are back in Coral Gables for their fifth and final college season.
During their previous run with the Hurricanes, Hanna and Haley Cavinder led the team to its first Elite Eight appearance, and the same is expected from them this season. The Cavinder twins are also drawing in big crowds to the Watsco Center, and this is something they'd always wanted to do.
“Women’s basketball is exploding; it’s going to help women’s sports in general. Just being able to do our part, getting fans out to our games," Hanna Cavinder said. "We’re promoting it as much as possible.”
Miami coach Tricia Cullop is also aware of the pull that the twins have and is hoping to build on it for the future of the program.
“I love that no matter where you are, walking through an airport, people yell out 'The U!' It’s awesome to have that national recognition,” Cullop said. “We’d love to build our attendance. I told the (Cavinder) twins, 'You take care of the young people, and I’ll take care of the old people.’ If they come watch us once, they’ll come back.”
