NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s daughter Me’Arah O’Neal joined many college basketball players to share 2024 snaps as a way of marking the end of the year. The Florida Gators guard posted several unseen photos of herself with family, friends and teammates on her Instagram story on Thursday.

In the first set of photos, O'Neal posed with her family, including her dad, Shaq, and her mom, Shaunie.

The second set of photos showed O'Neal with her friends and teammates, including a snap of herself attempting to throw a basketball, which she captioned:

"Only up from here."

Me'Arah O'Neal is the youngest daughter of Shaquille O'Neal. She is a freshman at Florida Gators, averaging 5.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game with 41.0% shooting.

Me'Arah O'Neal makes heartfelt IG post on New Year's Eve

Me'Arah O'Neal marked the end of 2024 with a heartfelt post which she shared on Instagram. The 18-year-old daughter of Shaquille O'Neal posted several pictures showcasing her biggest moments of the year, including a gym session, highlights from her games, her graduation and a family moment with mother Shaunie and The Lighthouse Church senior pastor, Keion Henderson.

"Closing the book on 2024, im reminded of the year's many ups and downs, but most of all, its abundance of blessings," Me'Arah wrote in the post. "Im grateful for the gift of life and the daily opportunity to learn, grow, and become the person God wants me to be🙏🏽. 2025, I envision a year of even greater blessings, personal growth, and fresh starts. More chances to strive for excellence and reach new heights❤️‍🩹."

Her dad was noticeably absent in the post, which fueled speculations that he may have played a limited role in her milestones in the recently concluded year.

Meanwhile, Shaquille O'Neal ended 2024 in style by throwing a party in Miami. The NBA legend, also known as DJ Diesel, sent the crowd wild as he threw down the late-night set at E11EVEN Miami alongside his son Myles, who was the main act of the event. There were other performances by Henry Fong, Roxy Ferrari, DJ Camo and Kelly Mae.

The former LA Lakers star has enjoyed a tremendously successful post-basketball career as a television personality and entrepreneur.
