Talia von Oelhoffen, a senior USC transfer, turned 22 this week. The former Oregon State star celebrated her birthday with her friends and teammates at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in California.
On Monday evening, von Oelhoffen shared a series of cheerful snapshots on Instagram captured with her Trojans.
"happy, loved, blessed, and highly favored. 22," she captioned the post.
The 5-foot-11 guard appeared to have a blast at the Studio Tour theme park, posing with friends and enjoying herself. Several USC players like Rian Forester, Kayleigh Heckel and Kiki Iriafen were seen joining in on the celebration.
The post included several single pictures of Talia von Oelhoffen and snaps she took with friends along with a video of her laughing at a cafe while enjoying her food.
She also uploaded images of various landmarks from Universal Studios Hollywood, including a popular Hollywood sign of Mount Lee in Los Angeles, all presented with a horror theme.
USC coach Lindsay Gottlieb posted a birthday message for Talia on X and also uploaded a picture of the two sitting in a court.
"Happiest birthday to this gem of a human and incredibly talented hooper. Here’s to making 1 year feel like forever! @TaliaVono" Lindsay wrote.
Von Oelhoffen spent four seasons with the Oregon State Beavers Guard before transferring to Southern California this summer. The Kennewick, Washington native averaged 10.7 points, 5.0 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game in her final campaign at Oregon State, leading them to the Elite Eight of the NCAA tourney.
Talia von Oelhoffen shared her excitement about joining USC
Coach Lindsay Gottlieb added Talia von Oelhoffen as a part of a USC roster overhaul, hailing the transfer as a key addition to the Trojan's lineup.
Stanford forward Kiki Iriafen also committed to USC this summer.
"It's so exciting," Talia told ESPN. "I'm super excited to take this team into the Big Ten and beyond."
"For me, it was just the opportunities in L.A., playing for Coach Lindsay. I think the pro-style they play translates to the W[NBA], which is my ultimate goal," she added. "They're exactly what I'm looking for in every way, and I was exactly what they needed: a combo guard that's a veteran, been through the wars."
With a lot of young talents coming on board, the presence of Talia von Oelhoffen will be crucial for the Trojans, providing experience and leadership to a rebuilding USC team that went 29-6 last season.
