Hannah Stuelke gave a special shout-out to her mother, Joanna, on Tuesday as the forward hype her mother's seamstress skills. Sharing the photos of Joanna in her dress to her Instagram story, the Hawkeyes star wrote:

"Yeah girl, eat em up!!! Love you mama."

Joanna Stuelke posted the pictures on her Instagram account with the caption:

"As a seamstress, what better was to show off looks than in paradise. Here are four fits I've made over the years."

Hannah Stuelke is playing her third year with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The forward is a star on the court, and it is in part thanks to her mother, Joanna Stuelke Mantz, who played for Illinois State and Missouri Western.

Last season, Stuelke played an important role, pairing with Caitlin Clark and helping the Hawkeyes advance to their second straight championship game. In an interview with ESPN earlier this year, Clark praised the forward's abilities on the floor.

"Hannah has always had the athletic ability, her skills have gotten better, she works just as hard as anyone on the team," Clark said. "She's getting her confidence because of all the work she's put in and she deserves it.
"I think that's the biggest thing, the biggest area she's grown. She kind of has that dog mentality now, and that's what I'm most proud of for her."

While Clark may have moved to the WNBA, she still keeps tabs on Stuelke. In an interview with Got Next with Meghan and Zora, the junior said:

"Caitlin's more like, 'You better be in the gym. If you're not in the gym, I know.' And it's like, 'Okay, I'm in the gym, I promise.'"

Hannah Stuelke leads the Hawkeyes to win despite the absence of a key player

With the loss of scoring powerhouse Caitlin Clark, the Hawkeyes brought in Lucy Olsen from Villanova as a potential replacement. While the senior guard filled in the role initially, she sustained a knee injury last week and missed the two games of the Cancun Challenge.

Despite Olsen's absence, Hannah Stuelke led the Iowa Hawkeyes to victory over Rhode Island and BYU. The forward is averaging 14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season.

After starting the season unranked, the Hawkeyes are now No. 17 on the ESPN Top 25 rankings. With the coaching and roster changes, Iowa is looking at a new chapter in its history.
