Iowa’s Jada Gyamfi, Patrick McCaffery and more react to Connor McCaffery’s heartfelt post for GF Caitlin Clark's birthday

Connor McCaffery greeted Caitlin Clark on her 23rd birthday, posting a heartfelt message for his superstar girlfriend on his Instagram account on Wednesday. Family and friends of the couple immediately reacted to McCaffery's post, which has generated more than 17,000 likes.

McCaffery delivered a short but sweet message to the former Iowa Hawkeyes star on her special day, writing:

"Happy 23rd CC (finally we're celebrating together this year)! You have an incredible ability to inspire and lift up those around you, and I am lucky to learn from you every day. Thank you for always being you. I love you."

Clark immediately replied to her boyfriend's post, writing:

"Awh. Love you."

College basketball stars Patrick McCaffery and Jada Gyamfi also commented on the Instagram post. Gyamfi hilariously posted six face-vomiting emojis and wrote (adorable) in her comments, while McCaffery also joined in the fun with his reply.

Jada Gyamfi was Clark's teammate at Iowa in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. They helped the Hawkeyes reach the national championship game in both campaigns.

Patrick McCaffery, on the other hand, has a special connection to the couple as he is Connor's brother. He currently plays for the Butler Bulldogs, averaging 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists through 19 games. He spent his first five seasons with Iowa before switching to Butler.

Caitlin Clark enjoys the offseason after dazzling rookie year with Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark has been enjoying her offseason thus far after a successful rookie year in the WNBA. She watched the AFC Divisional Round game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium alongside pop superstar Taylor Swift on Saturday.

Clark and Swift had fun cheering on the Chiefs, who won 23-14 over the Texans to advance to their seventh straight AFC Championship Game. Patrick Mahomes completed 16 of 25 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown while Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, caught seven passes for 117 yards and a score.

Clark celebrated her 23rd birthday with the Indiana Fever, who greeted the WNBA star after she finished her workout session. In her first season in the pro league, Clark led Indiana to the playoffs and also won Rookie of the Year.
