The Iowa Hawkeyes team of the 2023-2024 season will be considered one of the greatest because it featured some of the most talented players who went on to become top picks in the WNBA draft. Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin are off to the WNBA, so the responsibility of furthering the team falls on veteran stars like Kylie Feuerbach, Sydney Affolter, Hanna Stuelke, Jada Gyamfi, and more.
But the returning players still have a strong connection to the iconic duo of Clark and Martin.
Martin, a rookie for the Las Vegas Aces, uploaded a series of pictures on her Instagram account. From looking focused on the court to sharing a sweet moment with her former Hawkeyes teammate, Caitlin Clark, Martin's image caption showed that she loved her job.
"I love my job"
The Iowa Hawkeyes players flooded the comment section, showing how much they miss Martin.
"YASSS YOURE SO AWESOME and I miss you," wrote Kylie Feuerbach.
"Come home tho pls," commented Jada Gyamfi.
"miss you so much :(," wrote former Hawkeyes star, Gabbie Marshall.
The Iowa Hawkeyes are ready to compete in the new season of women's college basketball. With the hiring of Jan Jensen as the team's head coach, the team will strive to achieve the same kind of success it did last year.
