Azzi Fudd has a healthy status going into Wednesday's matchup against the Marquette Golden Eagles. She has no injuries listed, having played in the last two games for No. 7 UConn after recovering from a knee sprain. The confirmation of her playing in the contest will be determined before the 2 p.m. ET tip-off.

Fudd is progressing through the final season of her collegiate career. She made a successful recovery from a torn ACL she suffered last year, as she looks to help the Huskies make a championship run to cap off her career.

Azzi Fudd managing health to maintain key role at UConn

Azzi Fudd has been in and out of the Huskies' rotation due to injury, but she has shown her impact on the court when they aren't in her way. After seven games, she averages 8.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest. She is shooting 41.5% from the field and 32.1% from beyond the arc.

After a knee sprain sidelined her for three games, she returned on Dec. 21 against the USC Trojans. Her playing time was limited to only eight minutes, being unable to get on the scoresheet as she managed to finish with a rebound, an assist and a block. She improved in the next game, scoring eight points, albeit on 3-of-11 shooting from the field.

Fudd will look to revert to the form she had against Ole Miss and Louisville, where she put up 18 points in both of those games as her shot was falling from anywhere on the court. It will prove crucial in adding another dimension to the Huskies' offense.

UConn currently has an 11-2 record, putting up 79.1 points on 50.2% shooting from the field and 35% from beyond the arc. The team is dominating opponents by a winning margin of 25.3 points, boasting a defense that limits them to 53.8 points on shooting splits of 36.9% overall and 32.8% from 3.

After this game, Azzi Fudd and the No. 7 Huskies will look forward to their next matchup against Villanova at The William Finneran Center in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 5 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
