Dylan Harper has a healthy status going into Tuesday's matchup against Notre Dame. He has no injuries listed, having played in all five of Rutgers' games to start the season. The confirmation of his participation in the duel will be known before the 10:30 p.m. ET tip-off.

Harper is progressing through the first year of his collegiate career, coming out of Don Bosco Prep as the second-best prospect in the Class of 2024, behind Cooper Flagg. Harper is expected to be one of the projected top-five picks in next summer's NBA draft.

Dylan Harper has shined as Rutgers' best player so far this season

Dylan Harper has stood out as one of the best-performing freshmen so far in the 2024-25 college basketball season.

Five games in, Harper is averaging 19.8 points, 5.2 assists, five rebounds and a steal on 54.3% shooting from the field and 30% from beyond the arc. His last contest against Kennesaw State on Nov. 24 had him finish with 21 points, nine assists, three rebounds and two steals on 10-of-18 shooting overall in 35 minutes of play.

While his perimeter shooting is a work in progress, taking four attempts per contest, Harper's ability to score inside the arc has been noteworthy as it has allowed him to be the leader in the Scarlet Knights' offense.

Rutgers is averaging 79.8 points on 47.4% shooting from the field and 35.6% from downtown; on defense, they concede 68 points while holding their opponents to 40.6% shooting overall and 32.5% from three.

Aside from Dylan Harper, two other players score in double-digits for the Scarlet Knights. Ace Bailey, another projected top-five pick for the 2025 NBA draft, is putting up 19 points and 5.7 rebounds with shooting splits of 47.6% overall and 41.2% from beyond the arc. Lathan Sommerville has 10 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks as the team's leading shot-blocker.

Following Tuesday's game, Rutgers will next face No. 9 Alabama at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 27 at 10 p.m. ET.
