“Is that JuJu Watkins?”: College hoops fans react as Paige Bueckers and Flau’jae Johnson train together

UConn's Paige Bueckers and LSU Tigers' Flau'jae Johnson trained together, guided by NBA skills coach and Overtime Elite's head of player development Corey Frazier. In a YouTube video released by Overtime Select on Friday, the two guards began with ball handling drills, passing, utilizing the board, finishing angles, off-hand mechanics and a lot more.

The players also competed in several shooting drills, with the aim of being able to maintain efficiency throughout exhaustion.

College hoops fans reacted to the video in the comment section, debating whether USC Trojans' JuJu Watkins inadvertently cameo-ed during the intro of the video:

"Is that juju in the beginning?," a fan wrote.

"Wait was that Jordan in the background at 0:17???" another fan commented.

More fans joined in to commend Paige Bueckers and Flau'jae Johnson's work ethic:

Flau'jae Johnson and Paige Bueckers are the biggest NIL names in women's basketball

Paige Bueckers and Flau'jae Johnson take up the top-2 spot in the women's basketball NIL leaderboard. The two have been battling for the top spot since last summer when Bueckers had the top berth.

However, alongside her pursuit to solidify her musical career this offseason, the LSU guard also overtook Bueckers before the start of the 2024-25 season. She is currently valued at 1.5 million on On3. Johnson also signed with Unrivaled in December, which will help boost her stock further.

While Bueckers' NIL valuation currently remains undisclosed, it was last valued at $1.4 million by On3. The first hooper to sign with Unrivaled, the UConn guard has been one of the biggest names in college basketball since her arrival to the Division I scene in 2020 and is projected to be the first pick in the 2025 WNBA draft.
