The chances of Bronny James having his locker in the Crypto.com arena are closer than ever. Earlier, James marked an official visit to the Lakers' arena and had worked out for the Phoenix Suns. Moreover, despite having offers from over 10 teams, his agent Rich Paul shared that James will only accept invitations from selected franchises.

With that, Bronny James was seen cashing in on his draft workout proposal by the Lakers. A clip captures James in the middle of a scrimmage as the Lakers hunt for their next coaching mastermind.

However, despite the lack of a coaching staff, general manager Rob Pelinka assessed the prospects from distance.

While LA fans, with vivid embroideries of LeBron James' ultimate dream, find a reason to cheer behind the glimpse, NBA fans quickly pointed at the glaring void in the organization:

"We have no coaching staff," a fan immediately gave others a reality check.
"Working out for or with the lakers?? Like they need a coach ASAP," a follower commented seeking answers to finer details of the instance.
"Is this special treatment or nah," another fan questioned if Bronny James is potentially reaping the benefits of his father's influence.

Meanwhile, several fans predicted Bronny James to have sealed his NBA entry with the Lakers' workout:

"Is this a work out or a dress rehearsal? This thing is done. They will draft him," a fan claimed behind the short clip.
"I’m so sure they’re taking him💀," another enthusiast wrote.
"It’s really happening with #17," a fan claimed that the Lakers will utilize their first-round pick for James.

Bronny James' draft combine performance came a long way in his candidacy

When Bronny James declared for the NBA draft and NCAA transfer portal, many wanted the youngster to bank on his college eligibility.

Experts across the league believed James was unfit to make the leap. Nevertheless, those narratives were changed when the former USC Trojans point guard stepped out of the NBA combine.

After shocking with his 40.5-inch vertical, James displayed a quicker release on his jump shot to sink 19 of 25 shots in the moving 3-point drill. It was the second-best record among the invited pool of 78 players and best among shooting guards. Moreover, he scored 13 points in his final scrimmage while shooting 40% from the field and displaying his defensive tenacity.
