Jada Williams considers Kelsey Plum WNBA's GOAT

Arizona Wildcats guard Jada Williams, on the latest episode of "2 Legendary with Shedeur Sanders," discussed with Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and his brother Deion Sanders Jr., aka Bucky, about the WNBA.

During the conversation, Bucky asked Jada Williams, who according to her is the WNBA GOAT right now.

"I'm a Kelsey Plum fan. Kelsey Plum is raw," Williams said (38:40).

Shedeur, meanwhile, suggested Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson. Williams added:

"Yeah same team I love the Aces. I love A'ja Wilson."

Shedeur Sanders was surprised to learn that the Aces have 2-3 All-Star players on the same team.

The Aces, the WNBA's reigning champions, are looking forward to doing a three-peat this season. They have been led by WNBA MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson, who's averaging 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

Aces guard Kelsey Plum has also been great this season, averaging 18.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 0.8 steals.

Jada Williams dissects topic of "hate towards Caitlin Clark" in WNBA

The WNBA was taken by storm when two-time national championship finalist from the Iowa Hawkeyes, Caitlin Clark, was picked first overall in this year's draft by the Indiana Fever.

Clark has been performing at a high level since the Olympics break, taking the Fever to the sixth spot in the standings. Her phenomenal display on the court has earned her recognition from many for the Rookie of the Year and even the MVP.

However, Clark saw rough shoulders from league veterans becoming the talking point throughout the season. Her rivalry with former LSU Tigers Angel Reese has brought racism debates into the fore as well. On the same podcast, Jada Williams gave his two cents on the matter.

"I just feel like people on social media blow it way out of proportion. They try to make it about white versus Black or rookie versus vet, but it’s really not like that. People just haven’t watched the WNBA before," the Wildcats guard said.
"They’ve been playing physical, they’ve been talking trash—especially the trash-talking part. It's part of the game; everybody does it. That’s what makes the game fun and interesting. They try to make everyone out to be rivals, but it’s never like that. Angel and Caitlyn are cool; they’ll tell you that. Even in college, people were overplaying it, making it more than it really is." [14:50 onwards]

Jada Williams feels the hatred towards Caitlin Clark has been compounded by what should be called part of the game. Also, bringing racism into the rivalry is unwarranted.
