Other fans showed appreciation for the guard.
"Georgia Amoore might be the biggest basketball star in Lexington, and that isn’t a slight at anyone on the Men’s team. She’s just that good," a fan commented.

Georgia Amoore earns big praise from Kentucky coaching staff
The Kentucky Wildcats have struggled in the past two seasons, finishing with a 12-18 overall record in 2022-23 and a 12-20 record in 2023-24. However, the Wildcats are now on a 17-2 run and are in fourth place in the SEC standings.
Leading Kentucky's exploits this season is Georgia Amoore, who is averaging 18.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.1 steals. Commenting on the team's incredible run, Wildcats coach Kenny Brooks said (via Your Sports Edge):
“When you have the best point guard in the country it makes everyone’s job easier. They doubled and tried to trap her every time she came off a screen
"She is so elusive and will make you pay. Her vision is terrific and her passing is unmatched. I am still amazed at the way she passes.”
Kentucky assistant Josh Petersen spoke about the importance of Amoore's presence within the team:
“The beautiful thing is we know who Georgia Amoore is. She does not get rattled," he said. "She is all about the team. The whole team feeds off that and she steadies the team.”
Brooks also gave a peek into Georgia Amoore's future plans in an interview with the Lexington Herald-Leader:
“She thinks (about the game) as a coach,” Brooks said. “We were watching film as a coaching staff the other day, and the little knucklehead stuck in. And she wants to see it because she wants to be a coach.”
With a big win in the bag, Amoore and the Wildcats prepare for their game against No. 19 Alabama on Thursday.
