Good news for Kim Mulkey and the LSU Tigers: they beat Washington to advance to the championship game of the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in the Bahamas. The bad news: they were in danger of losing as they squeaked out a 68-67 win, causing fans to send heat Mulkey's way.

The Tigers trailed for nearly the entire game, being up midway in the first quarter until Washington took control of the momentum with a 15-point lead. LSU would not have another lead until they made a rally and Kailyn Gilbert got the go-ahead layup to escape with the win.

LSU fans were annoyed with the team's struggles throughout Monday, criticizing Mulkey for not having the right preparations to gain an advantage over the Huskies. This, fans believe, caused the Tigers to be unable to catch up until the final minutes. Here is what some fans had to say following the game.

"I told you people Kim Mulkey is a fraud She’s got no clue!!" one fan stated.
"I’ve been telling y’all for a decade that Kim Mulkey is a fraud," another fan remarked.
"Kim Mulkey girl please play Jada we need her! And MK GET IT TOGETHER FAST ! Moving on," a fan said.

One fan compared Mulkey to Darvin Ham when he coached the Los Angeles Lakers. Others believe that she might not play regular-season games against teams from power conferences in the near future.

"Kim mulkey ain’t never scheduling any d1 opponent ever again," one fan commented.
"i kid you not it’s an lsu sub only chat + somebody said this why kim mulkey don’t play power conference schools. the jokes write themselves," a fan said.

What's next for Kim Mulkey and LSU

Monday was not the best display for Kim Mulkey and the No. 7 LSU Tigers, as fans witnessed throughout the game.

LSU shot 33% from the field and 16% from beyond the arc; on the other hand, Washington went 44% overall and 30% from downtown. The Huskies competed with the Tigers on the glass (43-38) and steals (9-8), tied in assists with 14 each, and got five blocks in contrast to zero from their opponents.

By the game's end, Aneesah Morrow, Sa'Myah Smith and Flau'jae Johnson were the only players to score in double-digits. Morrow and Smith had double-doubles with 35 points and 28 rebounds combined, while Johnson had 19 points, four rebounds and two assists. Gilbert, who got the game-winning layup, scored eight points.

Improving to 7-0 on the season, Mulkey and No. 7 LSU will look to have a better showing when they meet the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the championship game on Nov. 27.
