Gabbie Marshall made her relationship public in December last year when the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary. Spencer Touro broke the news a few months earlier with a post celebrating the summer.

Touro is a former basketball and football player at Iowa. Per his LinkedIn, he is the Head Sophomore Baseball Coach at Benton Community High School in Van Horne, Iowa. Touro also works as a Wellness Coach at Pro-Fit Gym.

Gabbie Marshall's life post-basketball

In her five seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Gabbie Marshall was a 3-and-D specialist who ran the team's defense exceptionally. Along with Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin, the trio formed the core that led Iowa to its back-to-back NCAA title game appearances.

In May, Marshall bid goodbye to her basketball career, sharing the news on Instagram:

"As I am nearing my last month in Iowa City ready to take on the next chapter of my life, I have had lots of time to reflect on all the incredible memories I have made, opportunities I have been given, people I have met, and friendships that will last forever because of the game of basketball.
"It has been my whole life for the past 18 years, I appreciate all the highs and lows, lessons I have learned and everything in between. Five-year-old me would be so proud of how far I have come and all that I have experienced."

Gabbie Marshall has shared that she plans on pursuing her master's in occupational therapy at the University of North Carolina. Despite her retiring, the former guard still has a few endorsement deals coming her way.

Earlier this month, Marshall shared her partnership with The Joint Chiropractic on IG:

"Just swung by The Joint Chiropractic - Coralville for some personalized, quality care with a side of awesome! 🌟 Thanks for keeping me in the game, even off the court. 😉 Check them out—they have a $29* new patient special! 🏀💪 #StayActiveStayAligned #ChiroLife #TheJointChiro."

While Marshall and her former teammates may have gone their separate ways, she still shows her support for Martin and Clark, as she has been seen at WNBA games multiple times.
