John Calipari's era at Arkansas began on Wednesday night as the Razorbacks welcomed Lipscomb to town. The coach left Kentucky earlier this year to start something new in Fayetteville and there's already a lot of anticipation about what he will achieve at the program.
The Razorbacks brought back only one scholarship player from last season, Trevon Brazile. Calipari aggressively tapped into the transfer portal and recruited multiple prospects from high school to construct a roster designed for a strong postseason run this year.
Lipscomb entered the game an underdog after recording a 77-72 victory over Duquesne in the season opener and fancied their chances of an upset. The Bisons boast a couple of talents on its roster, including Jacob Organevic, who recorded a double in the previous game.
Arkansas entered the game as a 14-point favorite with total points set at 159.
