UConn Huskies basketball star Paige Bueckers took some time off from her busy offseason schedule to participate in a charity event. Bueckers and her Huskies teammates were a part of the 21st Annual Geno for the Kids Charity Golf Tournament organized by the Conneticut Children's Pediatric Center and their head coach Geno Auriemma.

The golf outing took place at the Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford on Tuesday,. During the event, Paige Bueckers got to show off her skills in another sport apart from basketball. In her recent Instagram story, Bueckers uploaded a post of her swinging prowess on the course during the event.

The young UConn star was delighted with her own golf skills and proudly decided to share the moment with her fans on her Instagram story.

The annual golf tournament charity event is aimed to raise money for the Children's Medical Center. This year, Bueckers attended the event, accompanied by several of her UConn teammates including Azzi Fudd, Aubrey Griffin, Ashlynn Shade and Kaitlyn Chen to name a few.


Paige Bueckers is itching to get back on the court

After missing the entire 2022-23 season due to an ACL injury, Bueckers made a strong return last season to lead Auriemma's team on the court. Bueckers helped the The UConn Huskies secure their 22nd Big East tournament title and advance to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament.

After a strong comeback, Bueckers is now once again excited to return to the court to play for the Huskies. She recently shared a few snippets reminiscing plays from last year while gearing up for the upcoming season.

Bueckers went on to play in 39 games while averaging 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Despite being a projected top pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, the 2x unanimous All-American decided to return for one more season with the Huskies.
